Finance Controller - Maternity Leave Replacement

About The Role:

As a sole financial function in our startup, you will be responsible for managing the company’s budget, analyzing trends, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with external accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing the company's budget, monitoring actual performance, analyzing trends, identifying variances, and reporting to senior management and internal stakeholders.

  • Prepare accounting reports and financial metrics for investor presentations and management reports.
  • Assistance in the company's fundraising rounds, including working with due diligence teams
  • Monitoring of accounting management records.
  • Oversee the company's cash flow and financial assets on an ongoing basis.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and collaborate closely with external account management and auditors.
  • Prepare performance reports for the Israel Innovation Authority.
  • Involved in building and updating the company's financial infrastructure.
  • Handle any additional financial or accounting tasks required by the company

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Certified Accountant
  • Minimum of two years of experience post-internship 
  • Must have completed an internship at a Big 4 firm or a medium-sized firm
  • Experience in audit and knowledge of accounting practices.
  • Full proficiency in Office, especially in Excel.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in Hebrew and English.
  • Advantage: Experience in a startup/High-tech company.
